spin2choose ("we," "us," "the Service") is a free web tool for spinning a randomized wheel to pick winners. This page explains what data we handle and why.
Entries you type into the wheel, your theme, sound, and physics preferences, and your recent spin history are stored entirely in your browser's localStorage. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to our servers.
?state= URLs)When you copy a share link, your wheel state is base64-encoded into the URL itself. Whoever you share the URL with will be able to load that wheel. We do not store shared wheels on our servers.
The "Explore Wheels" feature displays anonymized spin counts. We record that a given built-in template was spun — not who spun it, not what entries were used.
We may use privacy-respecting analytics (such as PostHog) to measure aggregate usage: page views, feature interactions, device type. We do not link these events to an identifiable person.
spin2choose shows ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
Each third party has its own privacy policy governing the data it collects.
Because we do not maintain user accounts, most data subject requests (access, deletion, portability, correction) can be satisfied by you clearing your browser's localStorage for this site.
If you are in the EU/EEA, UK, or California and believe we hold personal information about you, you may contact us at the email below to exercise your rights under GDPR or the CCPA/CPRA.
spin2choose is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
